2nd Chance Furniture
White goods, such as cookers, washing machines, fridges & freezers are refurbished through our Goods Again project which works with the prisoners and young offenders at Onley Prison and YOI. These are then sold by 2nd Chance at the Nuneaton warehouse.
Our terms of sale and collection, as well as an illustration of prices, can be seen below.

Price Guide
We are unfortunately unable to accept everything that is offered – either because of trading standard regulations, quality or the fact that we may be carrying too much stock of some items due to low demand. Those on benefits or low income qualify for discounts of 25% on the marked prices subject to providing evidence of eligibility.

We welcome a number of volunteers as the project has a large number of hands-on roles including sales, administration, telephone and restoration. We currently work with a number of people looking to regain confidence in order to find paid employment.
In addition to the objectives of providing affordable furniture to those in need and providing work experience opportunities the project also has an environmental aim of reducing the amount of waste going to landfill sites. In its first year of operation it enabled the re-use of over 100 tonnes of potential waste.
We operate in the boroughs of North Warwickshire and Nuneaton & Bedworth – but similar schemes run by other agencies exist all around the UK. To find out about these go to the Furniture Re-Use Network website .

We have a large warehouse, which is open to everyone for self-selection and sales at the following times:
We work with a number of different housing associations and advice centres and may be able to offer preferential and/or deferred payment terms to referrals coming from these agencies.
Volunteer opportunities are listed below and an application form can also be downloaded for those expressing an interest in this area of work.
