Miriam House is a 7-bed hostel for young mothers and their children or young pregnant women. The age range covered is 16-25. The project is 24-hour staffed with sleep-in cover; 365 days a year.
There are 4 full time workers to support low to medium support needs with the client. This is a support service of empowerment.
Upon joining the project, service users will agree a support plan, which they are expected to work towards. Commitment is required to enable them to develop themselves in order to obtain the necessary skills to move towards sustainable independent living.
